A proud graduate of Texas A&M University, Tien earned her BBA in Marketing, where she developed a strong foundation in crafting compelling brand stories and strategies.

With a dynamic background in marketing retail franchise stores and custom jewelry shops, Tien excels at connecting with diverse audiences and highlighting the unique value of bespoke products. Her creative approach and keen understanding of client needs ensure that every campaign reflects the craftsmanship and individuality of each of our projects.

Ethan Nguyen

Financial Strategist

Ethan plays a vital role behind the scenes and keeps everything running smoothly. With a strong background in both engineering and business, he brings a sharp eye for detail and a systems-focused mindset to the team. He graduated Magna Cum Laude from Texas A&M University with a degree in Industrial and Systems Engineering, and later earned his MBA from the Quantic School of Business and Technology.

Ethan manages our back office systems and is the reason our internal operations and communication flow so well. Whether it’s improving day-to-day workflows or helping the team stay connected and on track, Ethan makes sure we’re working smarter—not harder.

He also plays a big role in helping us meet our financial goals, providing insight and support on budgeting, forecasting, and overall financial planning. His ability to connect the dots between big-picture strategy and everyday operations makes him a huge asset to the company.

Haley Nawas

Real Estate Specialist

Haley brings exceptional expertise and a client-focused approach to The Barracuda Builder Group as our Real Estate Specialist. Raised in Houston, she developed a deep understanding of the local market before honing her skills at North Idaho College. With an impressive track record of over $20 million in gross sales from 2020 to 2024, Haley specializes in luxury home sales, custom builds, investment properties, and land acquisitions. 

Known for her ability to navigate complex transactions, Haley excels at serving high-end clientele, ensuring every deal is seamless and tailored to their unique needs. Sophia Villalon

Office administrator

Sofia brings organization, precision and a client-first mindset to The Barracuda Builder Group as our Office Administrator. Based in Houston, Sofia plays a vital role in streamlining day-to-day operations—from coordinating project schedules and managing subcontractor documentation to supporting the leadership team and ensuring every client experience is seamless.

With a background in real estate and customer service, Sofia bridges the gap between field and office, keeping everything running smoothly behind the scenes. Her attention to detail, proactive communication, and passion for design and construction make her an essential part of the Barracuda team. Whether she’s preparing client updates or facilitating internal systems, Sofia helps lay the foundation for excellence in every custom home we build.

Ramiro Ochoa

Project Manager

With over 25 years of hands-on experience in residential construction, Ramiro brings extensive knowledge and leadership to our team. His background includes the successful management of townhomes, single-family homes, and properties with complex features such as basements. As our Project Manager, he oversees all aspects of construction, ensuring each home is built to the highest standards and completed on schedule.

Ramiro works closely with clients, subcontractors, and the Barracuda team to coordinate daily operations, manage timelines, and maintain clear communication throughout each project. He plays a key role in scheduling inspections, confirming utility readiness, managing materials, and upholding quality control on-site. His collaborative approach, attention to detail, and commitment to excellence help deliver a smooth building experience from start to finish.

Jimmy

Chief Executive Officer

Jimmy is a big-picture thinker with a hands-on approach and over 20 years of experience in construction and real estate. He came to the U.S. from Vietnam as an exchange student at just 11 years old, and by his teens, he was already flipping homes and remodeling properties. That early hustle gave him a deep understanding of how homes are built—from demo day to final finishes.

He later earned his degree from Texas A&M University, majoring in Environmental Geosciences with a minor in Ocean & Coastal Resource Management. That background, combined with years in the field, makes him especially sharp when it comes to lot acquisition—a key part of what he leads for the company today. Jimmy’s great at spotting potential in land that others might overlook, making sure every project starts on solid ground.

Beyond land deals, Jimmy oversees operations at a higher level—guiding sales, helping shape the company’s strategy, and managing our social media presence to keep things transparent and connected. Jimmy’s experience also extends into commercial construction, having helped build everything from gun ranges to retail developments. His blend of practical knowledge, sharp business sense, and entrepreneurial drive continues to be a core strength of the company’s success.

Jimmy’s mix of real-world knowledge, smart instincts, and entrepreneurial energy is a big part of what drives the business forward.

Brian Hogue

Chief Operating Officer

Brian has been in the world of design and construction for nearly three decades, with a background that blends creativity, technical knowledge, and real-world experience. He graduated from the University of Oklahoma with a Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design from the College of Architecture, which gave him a strong foundation in both aesthetics and structure.

Early in his career, Brian designed custom furniture and even worked on flagship stores for Tommy Hilfiger—an experience that shaped his eye for detail and quality. Since then, he’s spent over 27 years designing and building everything from custom homes to production neighborhoods, always with a hands-on approach.

Brian works closely with interior designers, structural engineers, and civil engineers to bring projects from concept to completion. He also oversees the full scope of business operations—including design direction, material selection, purchasing, and managing the entire team. Whether he’s walking a jobsite or making final design calls, Brian is fully invested in making sure every project meets the highest standards.
